I was speaking with one of my leaders of my home business. We were going over our numbers, whether we met our goals or not and some of the people in our group. We went over which new coaches we wanted to put our marketing efforts under and which ones still needed to show us they were committed. He started complaining about how he could not manage to get his people to contact the sales leads we gave them. I reminded him that he was no different, when I signed him up. He just chuckled.
There was an silence. I disturbed it by asking him did he held onto the email I sent him, with my stats from last month. He said of course. I said to him to go check his email box for my numbers for this period and to contact me when he had an opportunity to compare them.
Then I hung up the phone and waited.
About an hour passed and my phone rang. It was him. He just kept repeating "Dang, man"! After a few minutes, he finally asked me what did I do to get my output up in my other leg?
I simply said, "MyPhoneRoom".
Then, I directed him to go check his email box again and call me, when he completes the online presentation. He called back, not thrilled at all that I had not presented this to him sooner. I apologized! He insisted on joining right then. I pleaded with him not to for now and told him that it would all make sense tomorrow.
The Less You Say, The Better!
Now, up to this point, all I did was send him to a website...
He called much too early the following day. He told me about the phone call he got, on my behalf, from my personal telemarketer at the MyPhoneRoom call center. He gushed about how comfortable my personal follow up specialist made him feel about how MyPhoneRoom could help expand his business. But, more than that he kept telling me about how my representative edified me.
Then I asked one question. "Do you believe your group will get as stoked about MyPhoneRoom as you are"?
Silence from the other end of the phone. He got it!
He saw that I did not interview him. I didn't go through a script with him. I didn't have to detail the advantages to him, either. I, simply, put him in the MyPhoneRoom system and the system led him through the "Buying Cycle".
All I did was giftwrap the package!
There is NOTHING more powerful, than confidence and will. I know what I can and cannot do. And, I am uncomfortable on the telephone, if I am trying to qualify you. Working the telephone, in Network Marketing, is a gift. Unfortunately, it is an imperative skill, if you are going to be a success in our industry. Until now, that gift defined who made it and who didn't.
But thanks to MyphoneRoom, those days are over!
I upload my list of leads. I send an email to my Support at the call center. That email has the name of my program, my script, the website that I want my leads to go to for my online presentation and directions about what to do, if the prospect is qualified and interested.
Then, and only then, do I enter the process. See for yourself
Can you do that? Can you teach the members of your group to do that? How impressed will your recruits be, when they realize you have a tool that will take care of all of their prospecting for them? Heck, they are certain it works. They just joined up! And it gets rid of their fear of cold calling.
I hate cold calling. Most of the folks that I know do, too. But, I am making a living, doing something I love and I am able to sign up more people, because I can get rid of one of the greatest silent objections to MLM success - the Fear of the Phone!
Maybe, that's not your hangup. But, I will bet you know people, who struggle with it. Perhaps, they are in your organization right now. Close your eyes for a sec. Just walk with me through this vision. I have to ask you, what impact would it have on you, if your group started recruiting like professionals? How many more signups a month do you think a system, like MyPhoneRoom, is worth per distributor, in your group. What if everybody in your group just added one new person per month?
